As of September 28, 2011 we have an immediate opening for a lead trainer. This person must have a CPDT-KA or similar certification and have a minimum 2 years background in leading group classes or conducting private consultations.

We are specifically seeking someone to teach group classes Wednesday nights and/or Saturday mornings. We are also seeking someone that can conduct private consults on Saturdays. It would be ideal if the candidate could fill both needs. However depending on available interest, we may require 2 lead trainers to fill this need.

We are also seeking an Assistant Trainer with similar availability and should have at least 1 year teaching group class or private background but not necessarily a CPDT-KA certification.

If you are interested in this position, please email your resume to our Vivian, our Dog Training Director at trainer@furgetmenot.com

We are seeking positive reinforcement dog trainers that have been instructing for 2 years or more. We are looking to fill Assistant Trainer and Lead Trainer positions. Lead Trainers must have their CPDT-KA certification through the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers or similar certification (ACAAB, CDBC, CAAB, CABC, CCAB, DACVB)

Our specialty is getting adopted rescues off to a good start and developing well-mannered family dogs. Fur-Get Me Not is committed to teaching people how to train their dogs using positive training methods based in science, with a focus on learning theory and animal behavior. We offer group class instruction through a unique Levels Training Program. These classes differ from the conventional 6 week class structure. We are looking for an instructor that can teach multiple levels. We also offer specialty classes, workshops, and private in-home training.

Instructors should be well-versed in clicker training, use positive methods, have a professional, up-beat attitude, interested in accumulating knowledge in the field, view teaching classes as a partnership between trainer and student and of course be passionate about dogs! We offer a brand new training facility that is dedicated to dog training and owner education seven days a week. You would join a dynamic and experienced team to support you to excel in your role. We also strive to let each trainer advance their special skills and interests within the dog training profession.

Serious inquiries only please. If you are qualified and would like to pursue a trainer position with us, please provide a resume that outlines your experience in the dog training industry and contact Vivian at Trainer@furgetmenot.com.
