Dog Walking & Pet Sitting Prices

Initial Consultation - one time non-refundable registration fee for new clients, due at time of booking the evaluation.  Conducted M-F at 9am, 4pm and weekends 10am, 11:30am, and 2pm.  Please call to reserve your appointment. $20
Update Fee - this meeting is to update care instructions.  When an existing client moves to a new residence, gets new keys or does not provide the keys at the initial consultation, adds a new pet to the household, or requests an optional meeting with a new or substitute sitter $10
Dog Walking Services
Midday Dog Walk - Standard 25 minute visit between 10am-4pm with a guaranteed two-hour window.  Reduced rates are offered through our VIP and Premier memberships for any client who receives at least 16 walks/month.  Additional fees apply for extra pets or adding extra time to the visit $20
VIP Membership - Clients who use our dog walking service daily M-F are eligible.  Cost averages to be $18/walk or 10% savings for the year, holidays already factored into the cost.  Additional pet packages are $63/month and extra 10-minute packages are $80.  Add-on walks beyond what the VIP membership provides will be charged the $18/ walk rate, $5 extra 10 minute fee, or $3 extra pet fee (membership contract) $378/

Premier Membership - Clients who use our dog walking service for at least 16 walks a month are eligible.  Cost averages to be $19/walk or 5% savings for the year, holidays already factored into the cost.  Add-on walks beyond what the 16 walk Premier membership provides will be charged the $19/ walk rate, $5 extra 10 minute fee, or $3 extra pet fee (membership contract) $304/

Pet Sitting Services
Pet Sit - Standard 30 minute visit conducted before 10am or after 4pm.  Additional fees apply for extra pets or adding extra time to the visit. $21

Overnight Visit - An employee will stay in your home overnight.  Please indicate your preference when making the reservation. 

  • Option A: Sitter conducts a 30 minute PM pet sit between 5pm-7pm and returns to the house at 10pm to spend the night.
  • Option B: Sitter arrives by 8pm to spend the night, walking and feeding upon arrival. 
  • Both options include another walk/potty break before bedtime and a walk/feed in the morning before the sitter leaves for the day. You can request to add a midday dog walk.

Holiday Surcharge - A non-refundable surcharge that is applied per visit to any midday walk or pet sitting service scheduled during holiday times (holiday schedule) $10 per visit
Other Services
Pet Taxi - our employees will taxi your pet within a 5 mile radius of our Arlington facility. Each additional mile is $1. Vet appointments are then additionally charged as pet sits for each 30 minute block of time the sitter is at the vet office. $20 each way
Pet Taxi Package - Purchase 10 pet taxis at a discounted rate to be used within 60 days $170
Extra Pet Fee - Applied per visit for each additional pet in the home in which we are providing care. $3
Extra 10 Minute Fee - This option allows you to increase the length of the visit in 10 minute increments. $5

 

How will I be billed for services?

If you are a regular midday dog walking customer, you will receive a monthly invoice.  If you are a pet sitting client, you should receive your invoice within 1 week of services.  All invoices are emailed, unless client specifically requests to receive invoices by US Mail.  We do accept payment by Visa or Mastercard.  If you would like to pay by credit card, please call our office with the information or complete and fax the credit card authorization form.  If you have any questions, please contact our billing manager at billing@furgetmenot.com

How do I tip my pet sitter?

Pet Sitters frequently go "above and beyond" by providing more than basic pet care.  If you were provided with great service, it is appropriate to tip your pet sitter 10% of the total bill.  This is a suggested guide only and is not required.  If you would like to tip your pet sitter, you may include the additional amount in your check for payment and we will pass along the surplus to your sitter with your compliments.  You may also mail a separate note to our office and we will ensure your pet sitter receives it.

Cancellation Policy

  • Pet Sitting cancellations: 24-hour cancellation notice is required in advance of the next scheduled visit in order to guarantee that you are not charged for the visit.  If you return home early from your trip, please call the office to cancel the remainder of your visits.  Client will be charged for any visit for which the sitter arrives to the house due to cancellation notice given less than 24 hours in advance. 
  • Midday dog walking cancellations: must be received to our office by 5pm the business day prior to the scheduled service, otherwise full fees apply.
